Ric Burgess, the PGA club professional at Colusa Golf & Country Club, carded a 4-under 67 and trails tournament leader Paul Biocini of Valley Springs by one shot after the first day of the Northern California PGA Callaway Senior Club Professional and Stroke Play Championship being held at the Stockton Golf & Country Club on Monday.
